That new blog smell

With this new blog format I feel like I just moved into a new house and I don’t know where things are in the neighborhood yet.   So like in a new place I keep driving around the block looking in windows to see if it’s someone I might know.  And at this new site, I keep poking buttons to see what they do, shiny pretty.

Also as you can probably tell, I haven’t had a lot of time to actually write a blog.  I was even invited to be a guest blogger at a blog I read nearly every day and I haven’t even done that yet.  Yup, I’m a slacker.  Call me a quitter.  A non-poster if you will.  I’m just tired, like the rest of you working stiffs. 

PLUS we still have the bathroom to remodel.  Here’s a quick update.  All of the electrical is COMPLETE, finished, terminado.  Now we, as in Sweet Husband we, can move on to the pipes.  We opted not to finance the graduate school of the plumbers son.  We, as in Sweet Husband, are doing it ourselves.  I will perform all the duties that it takes to hand things, and clean up and go hither and yon to arrive promptly when beckoned.  Really, it’s the very least I could do.  I actually sat and read a book while Sweet Husband worked his magic on the electrical the other day.  I would have been in the way, no really.  So I mop brows, and get water and clean stuff.  My very Sweet Husband says it makes a difference, but I feel like a  worthless goof.  I am a good cleaner though, in spite of how the house looks right now.  ugh, dust and bunnies all over the joint.  It will be good to be on vacation in a couple of weeks to dedicate all the time that is needed to ‘helping’.
